Fingers

from $850.00

Limited Edition of 25 per size

Trekking to see the Mountain Gorillas in Volcanoes National Park is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. After trekking through the jungle for two hours, we finally came upon our assigned Kwitonda group. Meeting the group, their leader Akarevuro, and his family was as remarkable as I had imagined. One female carried with her an energetic youngster, who insisted on climbing all over her and Akarevuro as they grazed on bamboo. Still nursing, this baby was still trying to figure out what to do with its fingers and toes, much like a human infant. it’s no surprise that these mountain gorillas share 99% of our DNA.
