While visiting Virungas National Park in Rwanda, we had the opportunity to spend some time with some golden monkeys. These little rascals were out in the farmland, pilfering potatoes from the village fields. They retreated to the jungle just over the park wall when we arrived. Our scouts and guides helped us navigate into the thick of the jungle and we watched as the monkeys feasted on leaves and jumped from tree to tree. This inquisitive monkey watched me intently as it ate, never taking its eyes from my lens.
