Seeing a lion’s teeth up close is not usually on the bucket list! We spent hours with a small pride of lions, and there was something so beautiful about seeing a group of lionesses laying together, grooming each other, nursing cubs. When one let out a roar, exposing her teeth, it was such a shocking juxtaposition to the intimate moments we had witnessed just moments before, that I had to capture it.
