After two days at the Borana Conservancy in Kenya, we finally located a pride of lions including several females, a few juvenile males, and eight cubs. The shoot was difficult in the tall grass, but after some time, as the grass flattened from the movement of the cats, I was able to get clean shots of their faces. The quiet intensity and still beauty of this lionesses was captivating and I was lucky to be able to capture her without any impediment.
