After two days at the Borana Conservancy in Kenya, we finally located a pride of lions including several females, a few juvenile males, and eight cubs. The cubs were charming and playful, rolling around in the grass, play-fighting, and nursing. One cub was fascinated with a small log, where it gnashed its teeth and sharpened its claws, developing its skills for becoming a hunter someday.
