One of seven worldwide species of turtles, the green sea turtle is the largest of the hard shelled turtles and is named no for the color of its shell (which isn't green) but for the color of its fat! Found in more than 120 countries, the green sea turtle is a globetrotter, using the Earth's magnetic field to navigate, sometimes 1000s of miles. Luckily, on this dive, this turtle wasn't planning on traveling and was instead sleeping lazily under a ledge in the reef.
