In Little Cayman, we came across a beautiful Nassau grouper laying in the sand beneath a ledge of rocky coral reef. At first, we thought the poor guy was sick - rocking back and forth in the current, but not phased by us at all. When we surfaced, we learned that fish actually do sleep; you just can’t tell because they have no eyelids. This is why I feel so inspired by nature - there is always something new to learn.
