Whale Tail

from $850.00

Limited Edition of 25 per size

Dominica is renowned for its resident population of sperm whales, living in social groups with females and calves. The largest toothed animal in the Caribbean Sea, these whales will dive for an average of 45 minutes and to depths of 2000 meters hunting for their main food source, giant squid. Snorkeling with these whales was nothing short of thrilling. As they would come to the surface, we would slip from our boat into the water and let them pass us by. Despite their immense size, they were at ease with us in the water, gently gliding by like a submarine cruising a the surface.
